In 1994 two years after the Earth Summit LianaCane was founded. LianaCane played a role in conserving Guyana’s rainforest, as a part of the Guiana Shield (a world resource) they began training young Guyanese men and women in the manufacturing of new, high-quality LianaCane furniture for functional of high-end design, using the selective cutting method. It is offered to both local and international markets.
My task included refreshIng the image and feel of the company. I worked with the participating designers of the website and I remade the LianaCane logo. The elements of the comapny Incorporated into the design. Below you will see the original logo and to the right is the new logo which I made. I first created the letters using the LianaCane wood and then went on to edit it using photoshop and illustrator.
Other task includead making snap shots of how the wood was cultivating and transported back to the wood factory.
